Busby is a silly little guy who frequently "talks" to us with a very serious look on his face.It is just a mix of soft whines and slight moans, but you can tell he could very well be trying to explain to us the meaning of life.He is also pretty smart about how to get away with escaping our baby gates. He can "deer jump" over them when he wants, and jumps back over them once he knows we are home.I've seen him peering out of our front window when I've pulled up, only to be greeted by him in the kitchen "confined" to the gates once again.
He has an addiction to paper products, which also helps as proof of his escape. He will chew up any left on the floor or in trash cans,so we've had to put all of our cans in cabinets. He is subjected to 4 female dogs of various sizes,2 smaller than him,and is a very good brother to them.3 cats also live here,1 in which is mentally unstable and harasses the dogs every chance she gets. This,in my opinion, has made his relationship with all cats a little strained .He will give chase sometimes when unprovoked by my nicer ones.I also have a 10year old son so our house is pretty busy with loud boys and he adores them. He hasn't been around small children in our home but has reacted nicely to a few he has met at events. He sleeps with my son and is super happy as long as he is buried under the covers. He can become frantic in his attempt to burrow under them, and may require help with that sometimes. He is all in all a very good boy, loves to play fetch, and is wonderful on a leash. He has been a joy to watch blossom from an emaciated, sickly (heartworms and HORRIBLE ear infections ) unsure guy into this sweet, funny, cuddly little man he is today. I have really struggled with the desire to keep him,but that would leave no room to help with fostering other dogs. He is safe with me until the perfect home is found. We all love him !

Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Most of our adoptable dogs live inside foster homes.  Fostering teaches house manners, helps to potty/crate train and accustoms the dogs become familiar with the sights, sounds of living in a home environment.
